At Riverstone Community Church we believe that there is purpose to this life. All our desires can be fulfilled and serious questions answered by a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Our job is to worship Him and show others how awesome He is.
We had a great camp!
Thanks to all who came to camp. We hope you were all blessed by the fun times together and the great teaching from Laurie Cowell.
The theme for the weekend was "Spiritual gifts - There's a place for everyone; You are important!" Laurie talked about how each one of us is given at least one spiritual gift by God, to use to bring blessing into the lives of others. If we are not using our gift then the body of Christ will not be working effectively like it should. Laurie provided a Questionnaire for each of us to fill in, to start to get an idea of what our spiritual gift(s) might be.
We've uploaded a PDF of the Spiritual Gifts Questionnaire for anyone who missed the studies, has lost their booklet, wants to do it again, or would like to share it with a friend. Print it out, fill it in, pray about it, and then talk to the elders about how you could use your spiritual gift in God's kingdom.
